CLIENT REFLECTIONS
It was clear from our first phone call that Zan cares. That’s the foundation everything else is built on. She has an almost encyclopedic knowledge about how mental illness affects the mind and a way of explaining it to the family that is clear and patient. She does the work — the real, unglamorous, painstaking work — and she never stops believing there’s a way through, even when a case looks impossible (like our daughter).
Zan tackles cases most interventionists wouldn’t dare touch. The ones all the “professionals” have already labeled ‘too complex, too difficult, or too disruptive’ She doesn’t flinch from that. She gets curious, meticulous, almost nerdy about the details — crossing every t, dotting every i — because she refuses to accept that someone is beyond help.
That combination — deep care plus relentless belief — is rare.
It’s why we chose Zan Eisley.

What can I say about Zan? She helped save my son's life. She saved me from myself - from spiraling into an abyss of fear and despair that I'm certain I'd still be trapped in today if not for her compassion, wisdom, experience, and resolve.
On a dark, cold, rainy October night in the Pacific Northwest, I called Zan in a panic — and she answered. Like many professionals in the world of mental health crisis and addiction, she is accustomed to juggling multiple urgent situations at once. But what sets her apart from everyone else is simple: she is the very best at what she does. Zan is in a league of her own. Period
She is a master at staying calm and making extraordinarily difficult decisions, guided by instinct sharpened through years of experience. She has cultivated an exceptional network of trusted therapists, residential programs, doctors, and facilitators throughout the country. Her understanding of the nuances and complexities of addiction and mental health crisis is unsurpassed.
Despite navigating several other crises that night, she answered my call and stayed with me for nearly an hour — then continued checking on me throughout the night. She understood then desperation, dread, and fear that consumed the mother in me — the part of me that could not think, could not breathe, and could not imagine a way through the darkness. Still, she knew exactly how to speak to me, how to steady my nervous system, and how to help me breathe again.
For the next several months, she was on speed dial for my husband and me. Zan has many gifts, but the one that shines above all the others is her extraordinary humanity. She gave us hope when we had none. She instilled in us the belief that we could get through this nightmare — if we listened to her and followed her guidance. She made the same promise to our son.
Today, he is fourteen months sober, enrolled in school full time, working, and committed to a strong recovery program.
Zan didn't just help him reclaim his life — she helped us reclaim ours.
